After refusing to go to the hospital on the night that her mother dies, Lila becomes overwhelmed with guilt, blaming herself for her weakness. Unable to deal with issues at school, she runs away, and leaves everything behind. When Lila decides to revisit her mother's old hospital room, she meets another dying patient, Lucy. Through bonding with Lucy, Lila finds a chance to redeem herself, and embarks on a quest to save the dying woman.
