My car broke down. It did not restart. After 16 years of living together. A long relationship, intimate. So before I let it go I wanted to shoot it and what it contained. My personal life, objects, stories, traces of past events, stratified in time. Elements that are placed in bulk and are a possibility of creating new things. My world to carry around. I filmed the route to reach the junkyard, the graveyard of cars. The lull after the movement. Noise, screeching, squeaking. A signature on a document and my car is gone. Life partner. Deposit of precious objects for me. A tribute to its memory.
