Just in Case
Rudy is a shy, spunky, 20-something guy who can't seem to stick with anything, and finds solace in a life of solitude . After finding himself lost in an abandoned town, he meets Kate; a talkative young woman with a hunger for company, adventure, and breakfast foods, but also has a heavy reliance on her night-light. Their story of 'boy meets girl' is entwined with the fact that they're both dealing with a set of circumstances they don't quite understand. This film is not about how Rudy and Kate get together, but more about finding themselves on a path to self-discovery...and how they do that together. It's a story about dreams, friendship, emotion, living your life to the fullest, and the beauty in not knowing what that means.
