The Rescue
'The Rescue' is the attempt to find a 12-minute cinematic equivalent to David Foster Wallace's prose. Based on the short story 'Luckily the Account Representative Knew CPR', it details the end of an ordinary long workday for two executive employees of a large, anonymous corporation. The procedure of leaving the building takes an unexpected turn, when the young Account Representative encounters the older Vice President in Charge of Overseas Production in the otherwise empty underground Executive Garage.
