An elderly cowboy reluctantly hires a single mom as a ranch hand. He takes her under his wing and, much to the dismay of his privileged slacker son, she proves to be more than a worthy employee. The old cowboy and the single mom soon become an inseparable team, bringing joy back into the ranch and each other.
