Food Systems, Chapter 2: Dinner on the Farm

Food Systems is a chapter from an in-process feature-length film that investigates the history of Pittsburgh restaurants alongside food issues within the city and within the larger current food landscape. The short film visits The Farmer's Table, led by chef Jacob Mains, as the group conducts two farm dinners at Jarosinski Farms and Lewis Family Farms. A second dinner series, held at Tara Rockacy's Churchview Farm, brings a different chef for each of the 18 farm dinners. The film focuses on an evening with Avenue B's Chris Bonfili. An intro with the chef's from the adventurous Root 174 is also included.
