Hard Drive

Is the story of Francis Brodie, a struggling entrepreneur who inadvertently purchases an old hard drive at a storage unit auction. On that drive are various files that were created by a multidisciplinary artist who went bankrupt when they tried to make a handmade film about their life. Francis becomes so engrossed in this artist's story, that he attempts to finish the film by stringing together the various files left on the drive into a tangible narrative. Though the film he creates is far from linear, Francis' does manage to create a visual portrait that is both humorous and emotional. In other words. people who see this film will never look at their hard drives or random computer files the same way again.
