Parfenov and Boris Akunin will walk along the warpath and repeat the moves of the 'Turkish Gambit', a detective story by Akunin. They will visit the places where those events took place. 'Gambit on the Spot' is the TV introduction to the feature film 'Turkish Gambit' made by Akunin and Parfenov after visiting the place of actual events in the Russian-Turkish War of 1877-78.
