HOMEWARD JOURNEY tells the story of a father-son conflict arising from different ways of coping with shared memories of the mother. One day, father and son travel to the lake. The actual reason for their journey is to sell their holiday cottage and sailing boat. But the place itself, combined with memories of shared family holidays and the appearance of a strange girl open up old wounds.
