Abigail Fortuna was once a great 1950s singer who cut her own stardom first after the controversy surrounding her career; every time she had a great stroke of luck, someone close to her would die. "Fortuna" begins 20 years after this point, and Abigail now lives in a rural mansion alone, except for her beloved pet peacock. A live-in psychiatrist begins staying with her, only to discover her secrets are more sinister than he could've imagined.
