Death and the Iron Maiden tells the story of Death visiting a small medieval town to abduct and murder a young Maiden. However once Death arrives at the castle where the Maiden resides, he discovers that the young woman is in fact a cyborg impenetrable to Deaths powers and after a violent battle which results in the demise of Death, the Maiden rides off into the moonlit sky. This film ultimately addresses the implications of post-humanism and the effects of the increasing use of technology and its integration into the human body.
