Last Exit to Muzai

May 17, 2014: Auckland institutions Whammy bar and Wine Cellar played host to Muzai Records' fifth anniversary show, the last Muzai records show for the foreseeable future as the label relocated to the United Kingdom. Last Exit to Muzai is a document not only of the night in question, but also a tribute to the bands that performed that special evening. Footage of the acts performing that night is interspersed with discussions about the label, it's foundations, and the history of the bands involved. A celebration of the 'little independent label that could', Last Exit to Muzai brings the sight and sound from that one Auckland night back to life, providing a nostalgia trip for those who attended and an introduction to the label everyone else.
