Three months after the release of Jon Shenk's powerful 2011 film, The Island President, Mohamed Nasheed was overthrown in a violent coup. This is the story of the Maldives' search for justice after the fall of the Island President. It traces the events leading up to the transfer of power on February 7, 2012 and takes us to the present moment in the country.
