'Sugar Creek Prelude' is my love letter to the creek that flows through Charlotte, North Carolina and past the neighborhoods where I lived growing up. The video will serve as an introduction to stories, both fiction and non-fiction, that take place around Sugar Creek. Part of the dialogue in the video was written by me several years ago and was used by the Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation Commission as the introduction to their 'Little Sugar Creek Greenway Master Plan' portfolio. In 2012, The Charlotte Film Community sponsored a contest entitled 'Inspire Charlotte'. I wrote the screenplay and my brother Richard and I produced 'Sugar Creek Prelude'. It won the contest.
