One morning, the residents of a nine-story building discover their elevator is missing. Nadezhda Nosova, the senior resident of the building and a housewife and mother of two sons, takes up the investigation. The younger Artyom is forced to help her, but the deeper they delve into the case, the more secrets they uncover, the more intrigue and mysteries they encounter, which unexpectedly lead to the prime suspect-Nadya's eldest son, Denis.
