Religiously run boarding schools mainstreamed both the religion and culture of many Native Americans. Several Indians became pastors in mainstream Christian churches only to become disillusioned with church done wearing suits and ties with parishioners lined up in pews arranged in rows. This documentary follows their stories of disillusionment and their 'finding a way back to faith' through understanding and embracing of traditional culture.
