After a chance encounter on a campground in Utah, director James Coulson decided to interview Ron Gorman, a caretaker who drove up to his campsite in full Confederate Army regalia. Gorman, a veteran of more wars than are in the history books, has been called many names, but 'Buzzard Eater' has stuck. He's a student, a teacher, and participant in history. Haunted by his own violent past, he seeks escape through re-enactments of the American Civil War.
