In order to raise the efficiency of the prisoners, a brothel-visit was offered as an incentive, a big privilege. Himmler wanted prostitution to become an official, area-wide system. The documentary is based on the stories of two women, Maria W. and Irka, who were forced into prostitution and from former brothel-visitors. It tells the story of the martyrdom of these women. Via original NS-documents we also gain insight into the cold, calculated system of Heinrich Himmler's concentration camp-brothels. One of the few available documents about the personal story of a bondage-prostitute is the audiotape-interview with Maria W. Her story is representative of all the women, who had to suffer this double indignity in the concentration camps. The Documentary draws a sad picture of the recently unknown fact of the existence of these brothels in the concentration camps and the exploitation of women as an incentive for increased efficiency.
