Damien: A Superhero Story

Damien Bonaparte is a lonely teen who works 9-5 for nearly 3 years, until he gets tired and finds a application for H.A.L.O. (Heroic Assistance and Liaison Organization) that is a legitimate, government-adjacent agency that recruits, trains, and assigns everyday people as sidekicks to registered Superheroes. At first, the job is absurd. But slowly, Damien finds his footing. He's sharp, instinctive, and surprisingly good in the field. His fellow sidekick recruits become the first real friends he's ever had. But cracks begin to show, when Damien notices things that don't add up.
