Film Graphics: Abstract Aspects of Editing

Uses pictures, animation, and quotations from classical cinema to present some of the basic structural principles of film editing. Analyzes structure in classical painting, in still photography, and in motion picture photography, demonstrating that the same principles are inherent in all three.
