Nasbandi: Conversations about Female Sterilization in Rural India

Nasbandi tells the stories of four women in a rural village in India, as they reflect on their decisions to get - or not get - sterilized. Through these narratives, the film explores the issues surrounding family planning in India - why the country's population is booming, what the government is doing about it, and how the government's policy affects the women it is designed to reach.
