A spider waits patiently for its prey to get tangled in its sticky trap... Somewhere on Auckland's North Shore, a young man named Ronnie is found lying dead in an underpass. His best friend, a vigilante named David, is wanted in connection with his death. In his quest to absolve himself from guilt, David meets an eccentric private detective who leads him to realize it's the web of lies and deceit we build around ourselves that ultimately lead to our destruction.
