Smoke and Mirrors is a short film born from a desire to create a truthful, raw Christian film designed to illustrate real life struggles- and the real grace of a loving God. Paralleling three lives: the sinner, the saint, and the saved, our team hopes to tell an honest account of the journey toward salvation. This film is a family drama exploring the complex relationship between two sisters. Hailey, the lead character, dabbles in heroin, alcoholism, and violence, while Sarah, her eldest sister, maintains a life of unhealthy control through piousness and religion. The two must attempt to overcome their differences when forced to attend Nana's 90th birthday party...little do they know, Nana has some plans of her own.
