Nasty

Twelve-year old Doug's family has fallen apart. His father isn't coming back. When Doug finds a box of his Dad's videos he feels he's found a connection to his absent father. Doug is overjoyed. It doesn't matter to him that inside the lurid VHS cases is his Father's collection of dreaded video nasties. When his Mother catches his clandestine viewing she's distraught and frantically destroys the tapes. With no one to turn to Doug retreats into his video nasty infused imagination where his family is reunited through a patchwork of horror.
