Sam is an uptight, anxious guy hosting a cocktail party on a night when the moon happens to be unusually close to Earth. As Sam's guests start to arrive, he experiences a surreal vision of beauty that makes him question his sanity. Sam's anxiety over the party and this reoccurring vision escalates to a climax where the surreal world and reality collide.
