Based on the best selling book 'Living in Shadow and Light' this film takes us into the lives of three women, each trying to find their way out of a severe domestic violence situation. We see their struggle to realize the depths of the immediate danger, their determination to discover a way out without losing their lives, and then the obstacles they face with trying to leave behind the fear.
