Rites

Rites is a dramatic short film about Black fatherhood and lost innocence. Marcus continues a long family tradition of waiting until the eve of his son's fifth birthday before taking him to get his very first haircut. However, when violent intruders raid the barbershop, the outcome has unexpected consequences for both father and son.
