The Return

The Return is a filmed theatre performance presented by the prisoners of the Avlona Special Detention Centre for Youth in Greece, which is considered one of the harshest prisons in Europe. Through physical theatre,bodies and faces 'break out' the spirit from the void, on a cathartic journey of metamorphosis and a head-on collision with fate. The global prison issue of recidivism chorused without a single word spoken.
