Based on a true story, the film follows the journey of a wife going through an intense struggle to either live up to what society and culture dictates or live life that celebrates her strength and compassion as an individual. Domestic violence is often hidden behind closed doors and often times rising out of the situation requires the survivor to drum up exceptional courage and determination to make a change in their lives.
