Shutterbug is the story of a man unable to free himself from the haunting memory of a lover he once had years ago, but has since lost. He rides the trams 'searching' for her, and soon we are taken into a waking memory of him as a younger man, when he was a photographer and still with his love. His memories and thoughts blend with the photos he took of her, and as he follows her up the shadowy spirals of his mind, we realize that he's slowly losing her once again, even in his dreams. This is an attempt to capture those scattered and relentlessly recurring memories, that feeling of loss, and the refusal to let a love go.
