Michelle arrives tired and worried from a Paris / Seattle flight in search of her daughter Evelyn; Exhausted she lapses into a surreal dream. To pay for her trip she brings ashes that prove to be those of a political dissident triggering a deadly chase through the city's big market. In the dream she finds her daughter with the help of the Gumwall Shaman.
