Coda explores the overlapping nature of beginnings and endings. An examination of a young, though not typical, romance, Coda prompts viewers to think about early experiences of romantic love and what we can take away from them. Is the end of a relationship the last moment that occurs chronologically, or is there something that comes after that, a 'coda' of sorts, which truly ties up the relationship, that being, what we take away from it: the memories we have formed and the lessons we have learned? It also poses the questions, 'If a relationship ends, does that take away from its beauty? Are the good times any less good just because bad times followed?'
