OFA & ALOFA is a Pacific Islander take on Romeo and Juliet based in pre-contact Samoa, A.D. 1600. Tongans have enslaved Samoa for many years. A war broke out with the Samoans victorious, yet their despise for Tongans continue to boil. OFA & ALOFA is a beautiful story of lovers on opposing sides, a Tongan Prince and a bride-to-be of a Samoan village chief, who try to escape their destinies, but in the end perish together.
