This film is about enjoying the moment, as only teenagers can: carefree, just having fun. It's about seeing the beauty of life, even at its ugliest moments. It's about Sara, a Kurdish girl and Maxine, a Dutch girl, growing up in the Netherlands, best friends who think that nothing can come between them. But now they're fifteen years old, they're allowed to go out for 'Carnival'. They dress up like Barbie dolls, drink beer, dance and shout. And then one of them finds herself a boyfriend.
