Carl, a boy in his early twenties with agoraphobia, is forced to face his fears of the outside world when he runs out of his medication. On his walk home from the drug store, Carl finds an old 16mm camera. Looking through the lens of the camera allows Carl to look around at the outside world and appreciate it for the first time, until tragedy strikes.
