The Rider and The Wolf is a feature documentary about Mike Rust, a wildly independent man who helped pioneer the new sport of mountain biking in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. He roamed the state spreading innovation and irreverence. Rust was inducted into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in 1991. He moved into a remote part of the state to practice sustainability, where one night men broke into his house and he chased them down in the dark. He has never been seen again.
