Black Point
Black Point is the story of a orphaned boy struggling with a lost identity and his incredible journey as he finds courage in the will to avenge his sister's murder. Follow Jake Morgan as he becomes a man and realizes that in order to find peace and quiet his demons he must conquer something far more frightening than his brutal past. The year is 1966. Just a deer, not an atom bomb or Vietnam, is all it took for young siblings Jake and Lily Morgan to become orphaned and trapped at the bottom of a lagoon. A tragic ending to a family road trip worsens when a downtrodden diver and his nefarious wife stop at the scene. Plunging into the black water and finding the submerged car, the fisherman pulls the children out of the wreckage and up to the surface. Their lives shattered and saved simultaneously as they are loaded into the couple's truck and taken, not to be heard from or seen again for many years. The siblings endured captivity well enough, treated more like abused step children than prisoners. Through the ordeal their love for one another kept them strong but the couple should have never let Jake escape after his little sister Lily is killed at the hands of their oldest son. Many years pass and the orphan captives are all but forgotten but Jake never forgets, he's coming back and the small town of Black Point is rocked by what happens next.
