Being a visual artist has always been a phenomenon in are world. Art impacts what we say, what we see, and what we do. To be a viewer is much like being the artist as well. Both these two people have agency. Elder Art: The Youth of Yesterday, is a short documentary based on four Canadian artists that circle around one community art gallery. The Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre. Through the eyes of these four artists, we as the viewer get to learn about them, their life, and what art has been able to show them throughout the course of their life time. These elderly woman inspire us to continue legacies, whether that be familial or our personal ambitions, they teach us to pursue what we want in life, and to change a hobby into a way of life.
