A Civil War: For the Soul of Black America

🎞️ Movie 20 min --
2015

USC Law Professor Jody David Armour reemerged from sabbatical no longer 'looking like Obama but with an 'unrestrained mane of nappy hair,' prompting students to comment 'how ironic he taught criminal law while looking like an criminal,' and triggering security to confront him as a 'transient' while in a hotel lobby. Professor Armour's hair and work guts the 'personal responsibility' argument blaming poverty and high incarceration of marginalized African Americans as 'their own damn fault,' exposing a smokescreen that masks bias against ALL blacks in America; law professor or homeless.
