It is a landmark of post-war literature in Greece and one of the country's best loved novels. The amateur theatre group gave all their best effort to bring the Third Wedding into a memorable play. The play also traveled in the prestigious festivals of Distomo and Oresiada winning Best Performance awards as well as several other award. Success does not come without any price. Similarly to the conformations of the Third Wedding the amateur group was brought to its edge - the razor's edge. Through this documentary feature we see through the tails and efforts of the Carpe Diem Theatre Group why and how the Third Wedding remains just as topical today as when it was first written, with its bold depiction of many of the characteristics of modern Greek society.
