Rise of the Protector

William Deforrest is a college freshman who just wants to blend in. His prospects are low and he likes it that way. But after a visit from two members of a secret government agency, he begins to discover a powerful ability that he never knew he had. With the aid of the agency, Will learns to use his ability and agrees to help defend the world from a terrorist threat. However, as he takes on his role as 'The Protector', he begins to unravel unexpected truths about himself, the agency, and the terrorist who calls himself 'The Mayhem'. In the struggle to save the world, Will must face who he is and learn to become the hero they need him to be; their defender, their guardian, The Protector.
