Thomas falls in love with a woman when he goes to a (movie) theater, but he sees her just when he runs through some material he shot there. Faustine falls in love with someone while being in a (movie) theater, but she doesn't know who she fell in love with. Does she real exist, or is she just an image? Was the object of her love just another image she saw? Has she seen anything at all? Thomas will come back to the theater in order to run into Faustine. And Faustine will come back there to find out who she fell in love with. Will they ever meet? And will they recognize each other? Does love exist, or is it a mere projection of our deepest desires and lack of affection? Is love between a man and the projection of a woman more real than love as we know it?
