Léon, Blacky and Zorro are cheats and proud of it. Living in a poverty-stricken shanty town in the port of Lomé, unskilled laborers involved in all the port rackets, they drown their sorrows in alcohol and drugs at night to the despair of their wives and children. Like all those who burn the candle at both ends, they know that their lives will be short.
