Scarlett, a 22 year old just out of college, visits her brother David on a weekly basis to bring him flowers. David suffers from depression due to a strict upbringing from his mother and stepfather, ostracizing himself from the family and blaming himself for any failed efforts. When Scarlett discovers that David doesn't want to visit their sick step-father, she seeks to prove her parents wrong and get everyone to get along. This causes David to face his worst fears all at once, and forces Scarlett to see her efforts failing for the first time.
