This is an interesting flick, if not a great one. It's something like found-footage, but then filtered through a social-media interface. It plays on an interesting powerlessness in the remote connections and isolation of the medium. The acting isn't great, but c'mon, look what they had to work with. Ha! The camera's are all webcams. The supernatural/causes/reasons really don't matter. You aren't watching a second-rate horror flick for the spectacular lighting and the award-worthy writing.It's different. There's something interesting in the way people feel "safe" to do and say whatever they want online. Who hasn't wished it would come back and bite them just once. Ha!That all being said, I kinda liked this. But what can I say, I'm kindof a fan of b-grade horror. ;)
