It's 1952 in post WWII Chicago. Hiroshi, a disconnected Asian American, faces adversity because of his heritage. Every day is the same; he wakes up, goes to work and comes back to a lonely home, until one day he runs into his neighbor's niece. They both share similar circumstances, which unfolds into a beautiful friendship that will teach them both to forgive and forget.
