A story of revenge, anger, depression and alcoholism. The short film is set in the drudge and slums of 1940's Manhattan. 'Canvas of a Loaded Gun' tells the story of Paul Herrey, a troubled police detective with a continuing and damaging depression problem and his partner Mitch Palmer, a no nonsense, straight to the answer type of policeman who doesn't have patience for criminals or foolish peers.
