In spite of his advanced age, Domingo faces each morning looking for a job. One particular night he gets a call for a unique position; at the eleventh hour, the veteran mechanic has to learn how to handle the 'daybreak machine' and gullibly perform an astonishing task: to make the sun rise. However, upon returning home, Domingo is missing his wife, Lupita. At the end of the day, if he can dawn the sun, can he not also bring his Lupita back?
