The show was aired between 8 March 1969 - 24 September 1977 and was hosted by Jack DuBlon as 'Dr. Cadavarino'. It was aired on Saturday nights from midnight through to 2:00am depending on what shows were on beforehand. The show was replaced in 1969 by :Nightmare Theatre'. There followed a one-off special 'Farewell Nightmare Theatre' on 29 October 1977 and a further special 'Dr. Cadaverino's Halloween Special' on 31 October 1980. Movies screened were:
