'Contrail' is a short film that explores themes of abandonment and separation, both through childhood and adult life. It presents an open question: are relationships enough to avert loneliness, or is solitude our persistent, sweet, painful friend? Shot on digital film with an experienced director at the helm, Contrail features a cast of eight and a crew of seven, who altogether endured not only 6 days of freezing cold weather but also the company of, at times, overly- friendly cows.
